Ginza
Tokyo's Most Polished Neighborhood
Ginza is Tokyo's answer to Fifth Avenue filled with luxury brands, department stores, and Michelin-starred restaurants. Our favorite parts are the hidden izakayas scattered with salarymen. Ginza also provides you walkability to Tsukiji outer market and the Imperial Palace grounds.
We prefer the west side and spent very little time in Ginza.
Stay here if
You want to be close to Tsukiji, want luxury shopping, and don't mind paying a premium for the postcode.
Skip It If
You're on a tight budget — even the 'cheap' options here are more expensive than elsewhere in Tokyo.
