About
teamLab Borderless is an immersive digital art museum created by the Japanese art collective teamLab. The new Azabudai Hills location reopened in 2024 after the original Odaiba venue closed, featuring large-scale projections and interactive installations that respond to visitor movement. It is one of the most visited art museums in the world by annual attendance.
Time Needed
2-3 hours to move through the full experience without rushing.
Best Time To Go
Weekday mornings when it opens for the smallest crowds. Avoid weekends and Japanese public holidays.
Getting There
Roppongi Station on the Hibiya or Oedo lines, then a 7 minute walk to Azabudai Hills.
Tips
Book tickets well in advance, especially for weekends. The museum does sell out. Wear comfortable shoes since there is a lot of walking and some areas require removing footwear.
